What is BLACKSTRIX Design Studio?

The BLACKSTRIX design studio is pleased to present its transport design projects to you. The very spirit of the studio is to link design to motorsports, recreation and extreme sports. All while adding a personal touch specific to the brand which will be style and elegance. BLACKSTRIX is also committed to the development of new mechanical sports that respect the environment. Indeed, in the years to come, it will be important to develop and make mechanical sports clean and thus be able to maintain the pleasure of being able to explore nature without polluting it. More new disciplines are in preparation and should be presented in the coming years. But the studio does not only offer its own projects. He also offers his designer services to companies. These collaborations allow sharing and a much broader vision on the evolution of mechanical or extreme leisure sports.

Design Process

Analysis / Research

Before starting the drawing phase, it is important to explore and seek as much information as possible related to upcoming projects. A designer is constantly evolving and must be enriched every day by everything that surrounds him, everything he consults and thus allow him to propose innovative ideas.

Drawing is the first phase of research. It allows you to quickly put ideas on paper and thus explore the various technical and stylistic possibilities.

Graphic design

The graphic drawing on computer allows a formatting and color of the ideas proposed in order to give more details to the drawing, but also to make rapid research, realistic renderings or even photomontages on the basis of 3D renderings.

3d model and rendering

3D software makes it possible to be as close as possible to the finished product to ultimately validate shapes, volumes but also dimensions. Thanks to them, we can then obtain plans to make a prototype or 3D prints.

Mock-up and Prototyping

Small scale models are ideal for having a global vision of the vehicle before building a full size prototype. This makes it possible to validate the lines, the shapes and the technique. Then the last phase will be the realization of the prototype. This phase is generally the longest and the most expensive. But it is the validation and the realization of all the work carried out upstream before launching the vehicle in production. This phase also makes it possible to solve problems that we do not necessarily think of on paper or on the computer.
